Brief description
Hamburg Pride e.V. was founded in 2003 and has been recognised as a non-profit association since 2010. With around 1,000 members, the association campaigns for legal equality, visibility and social acceptance of queer people. The annual Christopher Street Day and numerous events during Pride Week in Hamburg take centre stage.
Offers & services
- Christopher Street Day & Pride Week:
Organisation of the CSD demo, the street festival, Pride Night and around 100 events during Pride Week - including talks, exhibitions and concerts. - Project funding:
Financial and non-material support for queer initiatives, e.g. Bi+ demos, youth camps or art events. - Pride Award:
Annual award for special commitment against queer hostility in Hamburg and beyond. - Volunteering:
Opportunities, e.g. as a float angel or helper at events - especially for inclusive participation in CSD.
