The guys from Projekt Mancheck once again had the best idea and the best stand at the Berlin City Festival. Congratulations to them!
The Berlin prevention project Mancheck has just been presented with the prize for the best stand at the Lesbian and Gay City Festival in Berlin. Project manager Rolf de Witt received a cheque for 1000 euros from Gerhard Hoffmann of the city festival organiser Regenbogenfonds.
Mancheck won over the jury with his "Boutique Sextopia", a lovingly designed make-a-wish backdrop: Anyone who walks through a mirrored curtain can find their dream partner behind it and create a vision of really good sex.
Initially, the candidates can expect to see life-size models of handsome men, including, for example, a crisp footballer, a bearded guy and several role models from ICH WEISS WAS ICH TU, namely Fabian, Jan and Reinhard.
With the help of pictures on small cubes, you can then imagine your dream sex. In the "odour" category, for example, you can choose between a sweaty torso, a perfume bottle and a pair of feet. When it comes to location, you can choose between a bed and a changing room. And for the favourite body part, you can even choose the brain!
A friendly member of staff then transfers the chosen attributes onto a postcard. On the back of the postcard, under the heading "Geil!!!", is the information that around 70 per cent of gay men in Germany always or almost always protect themselves against HIV during sex - even if this is sometimes not so easy when you meet the man of your dreams.
Everyone is then responsible for realising their own fantasies. The parties after the city festival will certainly give you the opportunity to get active.
Mancheck boss Rolf de Witt was delighted shortly after the award ceremony: "The great thing is that this stand was developed from start to finish by the whole team, including all the volunteers," he emphasised.
Mancheck had already won the prize for the best stand last year and came third the year before. The project could really use the 1000 euros in prize money, as the guys always have great ideas but are chronically underfunded. Perhaps thanks to the city festival prize, someone from the Berlin Senate will now realise how well Mancheck's work is received by the target group?
ICH WEISS WAS ICH TU congratulates the colleagues most sincerely on the great idea and the prize! We are now doubly pleased that Mancheck is a co-operation partner of ICH WEISS WAS ICH TU.
