The Gay Games are over, but we're celebrating a little longer - with two sporty adverts. The production company Carasana shows us the naked truth about football and our Christian is not alone on the podium.
Last October, representatives from three production companies sat round a table in Cologne with Thomas Schwarz from ICH WEISS WAS ICH TU. They discussed the question of how the Gay Games could be made into a film so that internationally understandable messages could be conveyed.
The approach was quickly clear: the Berliners from the multimedia journalism agency Onkel und Tanten do what Berliners do: something unusual with real people, namely with the role models Harry, Stephan and Christian.
The guys from the porn label EroCreations do what they do best: beautiful things with beautiful boys in hard and softcore versions.
And the guys from Cologne do the big number with big boys. It should look like this: "Athletes jump on each other and get naked in the process." The message: sport is cool, so is sporty sex, and what counts in the end is having fun together. That sounded great, even if nobody could really imagine the pictures.
Björn Kempa from the production company Carasana had to overcome difficult filming conditions: Of course, he couldn't rent a stadium full of people and shoot the planned scenes at a real football match - the 1. FC Köln fan curve is light years away from that.
So Björn looked for the two nicest guys he could find and had them jump each other in the studio. Again and again and again. It took time for everything to fit together as it should: synchronised from dressed to undressed.
After that, the audience had to be built behind the boys. It can be assumed that a real audience would have cheered just as much in view of what was on offer, but why take a risk when you have the cheers in the archive?
The result of the fiddly work on the editing table could be admired by Gay Games viewers in around 50 public info spots on "Gay Games TV" and is of course also available on the Sports pages from iwwit.de online.
Last but not least, you can also find our role model Christian there, who the uncles and aunts have staged as the winner of hearts. And of course the other adverts can also be seen there (with the exception of a few porn variants that were only produced for use in the relevant locations).
