Anyone using Grindr between 1 and 3 December can not only arrange a date, but also order an HIV home test. The campaign by a French company is being organised to mark World Aids Day. This is the first time that a home HIV test option has been widely advertised in Germany.
HIV home tests are not authorised in Germany. With the autotest VIH from the French company AAZ, a reliable, easy-to-use HIV home test with a CE seal of approval is now available online. Grindr users can easily order the test from 1 to 3 December: Via an online advertising banner, they will be directed to http://autotest-vih.eu/de/ where you can order the HIV home test for €24.95.
... and if the test is positive?
The handling is simple and is clearly explained: For the test, you take a drop of blood from your fingertip and apply it to the test strip provided. As easy as it is to use, the result can be challenging: a reactive home test means with a high degree of certainty that the test result is positive. If you would like an e-mail consultation, you can contact autotest-vih@sis-association.org contact us. Consultation hours are from Monday to Sunday from 8.00 to 23.00.
