Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe launched its new information and service portal today. To start with, a large click campaign is intended to set an example. The message: "I care about HIV!"
Nobody cares about HIV anymore? Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe is certain: this is a prejudice. A major online campaign aims to prove the opposite. "I care about HIV!" is the motto. Over the course of a month, no less than one million clicks are to be achieved. To achieve this aidshilfe.de a big red buzzer is ready and waiting. In addition to the non-material prize, with a bit of luck the participants can win a fantastic weekend in Berlin.
The campaign accompanies the launch of the new information and service portal aidshilfe.de. The new website of Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe (DAH) has been under development for one and a half years. It provides information on all issues relating to HIV and other sexually transmitted infections - reliably, easily understandable and clearly organised. The news channel reports aidshilfe.de also reports daily on current events in science, society, politics and self-help. The editorial team provides interviews, background information and commentary in the site's blog.
Condom burst? Need information on safer sex? Positive test result? A question about combination therapy? Stress at work because of HIV? Lost in the jungle of social law? aidshilfe.de offers customised information on every topic - for people with and without HIV. In addition to texts, videos are also used.
The site's slogan: "Good to know". - "The advantage of a website is that it is always available when questions arise," says Dirk Hetzel, DAH consultant for internet-based prevention. "The right information at the right time can be very important for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections."
The focus is on aidshilfe.de the interests of the users. The blog is intended to generate exciting discussions.
